Gretchen Weeks is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner and a pediatric nurse practitioner. Gretchen has over seven years of experience in the area of pediatric nursing. While working as a pediatric nurse practitioner in primary care, Gretchen became aware of the increasing amount of mental illness affecting children and teenagers. Due to this, Gretchen became passionate about caring for those with mental illness and wanted to care for the entire family unit. Therefore, she followed her passion to treat those with mental illness by returning to school for her post-master’s psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner certificate which allows her to treat psychiatric conditions across the age spectrum. She is delighted to join Musick Psychiatry and Psychotherapy Associates to provide treatment for a wide array of psychiatric conditions throughout the lifespan with a special interest in children, teenagers, and young adults dealing with mental illness.

Gretchen has extensive academic credentials including a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from Augusta University, a Master’s of Science in Nursing from the Child Health Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Primary Care Program at Georgia State University, and a post-master’s Certificate from the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Program at the University of New Hampshire.
